Announcements

  • Devotional Material: June 2026’s Living Life is available for pickup at the church office.
  • Equipment Department: A new English Sunday School Series Halo Zone has started from May to July every Sunday morning 10-11am at 119A classroom.
  • Children’s Ministry Announcement:  From June 8th to 12th, Vacation Bible school (VBS) will be held in the children’s hall from 6:00 PM to 8:40 PM. Please register on the church web-site. For details, please contact Director Ruth (x16).
  • Father’s Day Celebration: Join us on Sunday, June 21, at 10:30 AM for our Father’s Day service at Live Oak Park, followed by a BBQ lunch, potluck, and softball fellowship. We welcome everyone to come and enjoy this special time together as a church family.
  • Glocal Short Term Mission: Summer Short-Term Mission teams a total of 50 participants will be serving, and the estimated funding needed is $40,000. Please keep them in your prayers as they go out to share the gospel abroad. If you would like to support the teams financially, please indicate “Short-Term Missions” or “STM” on your donation.
  • Operation Department: To enhance night time parking safety, the church will be constructing additional fencing and installing electric gates on the north and west sides of the property. The total construction cost is $75,000. Please pray for this project and consider contributing financially. During construction, parking may be limited. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the ongoing Vacation Bible School (VBS). May the children who have registered attend faithfully each day. May our coworkers and teachers serve and guide them with love, wisdom, and patience, sowing the seeds of the gospel in their hearts, so that from a young age they may develop a love for and a longing after Jesus.
  • Pray for the church’s ministries and outreach in June. Pray for the upcom-ing Father’s Day outdoor Sunday service and the various summer minis-tries. May God use these gatherings as opportunities for blessing and out-reach, so that more newcomers and families may come to know the Lord and experience His love.
  • Pray for the church’s summer short-term missions. Beginning in June, teams will be sent out successively to Taichung, the west coast of Taiwan, Kyrgyzstan, and Japan. Pray for smooth travel arrangements, good health for all team members, and a spirit of unity in their service, that they may bring the gospel and the love of Christ to the local people.
    Pray for brothers and sisters in need. Lift up those who have needs in their physical health, emotional well-being, and spiritual life, asking the Lord to personally bring healing.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for Bangladesh. According to available data, about 9% of children aged 5–17 in Bangladesh are engaged in labor, and more than half of women aged 20–24 were married before the age of 18. We ask the Lord to deliver these children from the burdens and suffering caused by these issues.
