Announcements

Holy Communion: We will observe online communion during our live-streamed worship service today.

Expanded Church Council Meeting: Today the meeting will be hosted online at 1:30 pm. All pastors, zone pastors, elders, deacon, advisors, and small group leaders are invited. We will go through the code of conduct and statement of faith with the coworkers so please make sure you can participate.

Devotional Material: 2021 January “Living Life” is available for pick up at the church office from Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.

 

Prayer Requests

Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the Church. Pray that the Lord would revive His church to seek Him earnestly in devoting herself in prayer, reaching out, and loving one another.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick.  Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.

Pray for the world

  • Pray for COVID-19. Pray that the COVID-19 pandemic would subside soon.  Pray also for safety of the front line health workers and senior care givers.
  • Pray for Vietnam. The government of Vietnam formally claims to guarantee freedom of religion, but in reality, it severely restricts certain religions. It regulates religious groups through the Law on Belief and Religion, which gives the government authority to control and restrict any religious movements that they disapprove or disagree with.  Let us pray for the government to revise its religious laws and that the gospel will spread in Vietnam despite these obstacles.
