Announcements

  • Children’s Easter Outreach: There will be a Drive-Thru Egg Hunt in our church parking lot from 10am-12pm on 4/3 (Sat). The kids and parents who come will receive a goody bag and the handcraft materials for Easter Sunday School (4/4). Please invite your friends and family to come and join this fun event.
  • April Mission Month: Theme “Missio Dei, Man’s Work, Where are you?” Sunday speakers will be 4/4 Jacky Yang, 4/11 Richard Cook, 4/18 David Doong, and 4/25 KC Liu. Please prepare your heart to learn and practice missions in our lives.
  • Recruitment: We are looking for advisors and helpers to join our ministries to bless and inspire our college, high school, and middle school students. Feel free to reach out if you feel called and would like to know more about it.

Prayer Requests

Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)

  • Pray for Harvest Baptismal Class. Pray that the Lord would give pastor Jacky wisdom to lead this baptismal class.  Pray that the Lord would use this class to strengthen the faith of the attendees.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.
  • Pray for Happiness Group Ministries.  Pray for the coordination of different ministries, such as music, testimony, of each HG. Pray for the invitation of BESTs.

Pray for the world

  • Pray for COVID-19. Now those who are in education, food and service sectors become legible for COVID vaccination.  Pray that the vaccination for people in these sectors would proceed smoothly and swiftly.  Pray that the COVID pandemic would further subside as more and more people have received their vaccination.
  • Pray for the Rohingya. In August 2017, at least 288 Rohingya villages were destroyed by the Myanmar government in a crackdown that has been described by the UN as an example of ethnic cleansing.  Since then, Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh and are living in refugee camps.  The UN Court has repeatedly asked the government to protect the Rohingya community, but they deny genocidal intent.  Pray that God will provide safety for the Rohingya, and that the government of Myanmar will protect the rights of this vulnerable minority.
