- Congregational Meeting (10/16): EFCLA’s congregational meeting is on 10/16 (Sun) at 1:30pm. People who are over 18 years old and have been accepted to EFCLA’s membership have the right and obligation to vote on the day of the congregational meeting. Please participate and vote for our church’s budget (financial statements are posted in the chapel) and council for the year of 2023. For those active members who cannot attend the congregational meeting on 10/16 (Sun), please ask for leave of absence with your zone pastors, advisors, or the church office.

Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas. We hope to invite more new students and families to our congregation across all fellowships. - Children’s Congregation: On 10/30 (Sun), from 12:45-2:30pm, CC will host a Trunk-N-Treat event at the church parking lot. You are welcome to invite friends and family to participate.
- Thanksgiving Baptism (11/20): We would like to encourage sisters and brothers that are considering getting baptized to join baptism classes in preparation of the baptism on Thanksgiving Sunday. Please reach out to your advisors or pastors for more information
- Church Lunch: The estimated additional budget for lunch is $27,500 through August to December. Please keep this need in your prayers and support this ministry with donation if you are able.
- Courtyard Renovation: The North Courtyard of the church campus is under renovation now and it will take about 6 weeks for completion. Please use other entrances and exits during the construction period. The estimated budget is $80,000 and the amount of funds raised so far is $32,937.76. Please continue to pray for the renovation and funds. (Memo: Courtyard).
- Winter Retreat 2022: This year there will be a retreat planned together with all EFC churches’ English ministries from 12/29/2022 to 1/1/2023 in Big Bear. All church families are welcome to participate since there will be adult/youth and children’s tracks. Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for 52nd Anniversary and Annual Congregation Meeting: This is the 52nd anniversary our church. May God lead us to unite and spread the gospel. Our brothers and sisters are committed to growth and actively participate in the service. The ACM will be held on 10/16. The new elders and deacons in 2023 will be selected. Please pray for God prepare a united team of Deacon Board to build EFCLA together.
- Pray for Outreach Ministries: Pray that the seekers would come back for our outreach meeting. Pray also for those who host the outreach meeting.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
Pray for the world
- Pray for Taiwan. Taitung, Hualien has an earthquake occurred on 9/20. There are many houses, bridges, and roads were damaged, and the county and city governments not only had to repair and rebuild, but also began to inspect those old and dangerous buildings. The earthquake caused 1 death and 167 injuries, and many bridges in Taitung and Hualien were damaged. Please pray for the local government to repair and rebuild damaged buildings and traffic arteries as soon as possible to ensure public safety; also ask the Lord to help the affected people recover from the shock, and provide subsidies and supplies for property and economic losses.
- Pray for Laz in Germany. The Laz come from northeastern Turkey and Georgia, but a small group has migrated to Germany. Islam is a strong part of the Laz’s identity, as they have been Sunni Muslims since the time of the Ottoman Empire. Only a very small number of Laz in Germany are Christians. Pray that German believers and churches will build relationships with the Laz community that will open doors to sharing the gospel.
