Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for Church. Beginning in April is the church’s annual mission month. May the Holy Spirit empower brothers and sisters to be willing to step out of their comfort zone, not only to listen to the Word but also to do it. May the Lord make more people eager for the gospel and willing to spread the gospel, live out the gospel, and learn from Jesus to pay the price for the gospel, no matter what form it takes to achieve the goal of witnessing for the Lord Jesus. May the Lord Jesus grant power so that brothers and sisters will not only have the motivation to change, but also have the ability to change, and be molded by the Lord bit by bit so that God’s church will be full of power and saved people.
  • Pray for the ongoing work of evangelism. Pray for the Happiness Groups and D2B: Please pray for the coworkers involved in the Happiness Groups. Pray that God would use their ice breakers, songs, testimonies, messages and companionship to touch the hearts of the BEST and lead them to Jesus Christ. Pray for the brothers and sisters who are in D2B. Pray that God would use them to use the D2B materials to break through the strong strongholds in the hearts of the catechumens and lead them to know Jesus.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and re-store their heath and strength.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for USA. A mass shooting took place at a private church elementary school in Nashville, on the morning of the 27th. A transgender woman who had attended the school entered the campus with a gun and fired several shots, killing three 9-year-old students and Three faculty members aged between 60 and 61 were killed (including the principal and a pastor’s 9-year-old daughter), and the gunman was shot dead by police. May the Lord have mercy on all the staff, students and parents in this church primary school, and may your comfort and peace come to everyone in the area! May the Lord heal every soul of those who were at the scene of the shooting, and pray that God will personally com-fort all the victims and the families of the perpetrators, and be their refuge and help at any time. May the Lord embrace every heart that is in darkness, so that they can get rid of hatred and fear, and receive love and release from heaven!
  • Pray for Israel.  In late March, Israel’s defense minister called in a public speech for “a moratorium on the judicial reform program for the sake of Israel’s security.” The next day, the Israeli prime minister abruptly fired the minister, causing tens of thousands of Israelis to take to the streets of cities to express their discontent and protest. The bill, if passed, could lead to restrictions on evangelism. Pray for the Church of Israel, Messianic believers and missionaries, that the Lord would preserve their faith and evangelistic mission, and that He would bless the Israeli government with just laws that balance religious freedom and prevent civil fraud.
