Title: Bridging Divides: The Pursuit of Peace

Announcements
- Devotional: You can now subscribe to the 2024 devotional materials ($84/year): “Living Life” (for adults), “Sena” (for G7-12), and “I Love Jesus” (for G4-6 and G1-3). Please sign up through your fellowship and make payment before today.
- Children’s Congregation:
1) Winter quarter Sunday school teacher/helper training on 11/19, 12:45pm to 2:30pm. Fruits and childcare provided.
2) Christmas baptism ceremony on 12/17, 1pm to 2pm. Baptism class on 11/5&12, 12/3&10, 12:30pm to 1:30pm at the CM building classroom. - In-person Wednesday Prayer Meeting: Starting from 2024 (7:30pm in the English Hall), the Wednesday prayer meeting will be held in person on the last week of each month. All are invited to worship, praise, and pray together.
- Thanksgiving event: Let’s count our blessings from God and glorify him through praise and testimony! Pick up a color card at the lobby reception desk, write this year’s testimonies or blessings, and drop them in the gratitude mailbox. We’ll compile and post them on the gratitude wall in the atrium.
- Church Lunch Service: Thank the Lord, we have received $54,052.55for our lunch fund so far. If you would like to make a lunch special donation through check or cash offering, please use the church offering envelope, and please indicate lunch in the memo.
- Agape Education Center: The Montessori School is starting to recruit students aged 2-6 years old. If you want more information or to visit the school, please contact 626-450-7686 to leave a message.

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for the happiness group. May the Lord’s Holy Spirit continue to work in the hearts of every seeker, that they would feel loved in the group, and may receive the benefits of the gospel by accepting Jesus as their savior.
- Pray for the 11/18 Church Pastors and Elders Retreat. Pray that pastors and elders can work together to serve the church, re-ceive God’s vision, develop their gifts, and coordinate with each other to glorify God’s name.
- Pray for the baptism classes in the children’s Congregation. In November, there are baptism classes in the children’s Congregation, and parents also hold dedication ceremonies for their children. Pray that God will increase the faith of these children and parents, trust in Jesus whole-heartedly, follow Jesus, and never depart from it even when they are old.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are ill and restore their health and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. May God’s mercy and intervention bring conflict to an end as soon as pos-sible. May God comfort and protect families who have suffered. We pray for gospel workers in the Middle East, so that they may bring many to Christ.
