The Children Congregation (Today):
1) Upcoming 7th graders will join HarvestLA services today.
2) VBS training on 4/28 Sunday 12:45-2:30 pm, at the CC worship room, salad and child care will be provided. Please come on time.
3) Mark your calendars for our exciting Vacation Bible School (VBS) from June 10th to 14th, 5:30-8:40 PM, located on the 2nd floor of the CC Building. VBS is open to children and youth aged 4-12, with a registration fee of $30 covering dinner, a t-shirt, and craft materials. Heart Keeper will provide coffee times for parents. For further details, kindly register at HarvestLA.org or reach out to Director Ruth (ext.16).
Mother’s Day (5/12): Join us for a joint worship service at 10:30 AM in the main sanctuary to celebrate Mother’s Day. The Care department will present a gift to every mother afterward. Lunch boxes will be provided.
Equipment Department: Adult/Youth Sunday School will be paused on Moth-er’s Day (5/12) as we commemorate Mother’s Day.
Church Lunch Offering: The estimated annual cost for church lunches is $200 per person, approximately $20 per month. Label your offering “Lunch” in the donation memo.
Main sanctuary LED screen project: The main sanctuary LED screen has been upgraded ($70,000). Thank you for your support; we’ve received $25,000 and still need $45,000. To donate, please label it “LED SCREEN” in the donation memo.

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

Pray for Outreach Groups. This Spring’s outreach meetings are approaching their ends. Pray that all the seekers would accept Jesus as their personal savior, and receive their baptism. Pray that all the seekers would join different groups after being baptized to grow in their faith.
Pray for Prayer Meeting. Pray that the Lord would revive the Wednesday night prayer meeting. Many people would reserve Wednesday night for prayer. Pray that in the prayer meeting many people would experience renewal of their lives and God’s signs and wonders.
Pray for the Sick. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

Pray for Revival. More than two-thirds of the world’s nearly 8 billion people live under the control of pagan false gods or have been blinded by the gods of the world to pursue materialism, individualism, atheism, etc. Pray that God will raise up His church to boldly proclaim the truth of salvation to the world and demonstrate God’s love to the world, so that our Lord’s kingdom would advance greatly.
Pray for Sweden. Sweden enjoys a strong economy where public-private partnership is stable and mutually beneficial. Its welfare system is robust and its standard of living is among the best in the world. Sweden had a Lutheran church until 2000, when church and state were formally separated. Christians are increasingly facing opposition for their public acknowledgement of God. Many people do not believe God is relevant to the modern context of life and are pursuing materialism, hedonism, and individualism instead. Praise God for the stable conditions created by Sweden’s welfare system and good standard of living. Pray for the Swedes to turn away from false pursuits and put their faith in God.
