Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • The Pray for New Believers. There are ten plus people taking out new believer equipping courses (Purpose Driven Life and Disciple School I) this quarter. Pray that they would finish their course well so to grow maturely in their spirituality and ready for all kinds of good works.
  • Pray for Revival Camp. The Spring Revival Camp: Encountering God will be held on Feb 21 and 22. Pray for the main speaker Rev. Abraham Liu and his team. Pray that the Lord would use them to help people experiencing God’s healing and renewal. Pray that people would reserve time to join this camp.
  • Pray for Los Angeles Wildfires. The Jan 7 wildfires in Los Angeles has burnt over twelve thousand houses, caused one hundred and fifty thousand people evacuated, and twenty-four people killed. Pray that the Lord would send rain to extinguish the wildfires, and give people peace. Pray that all those who lost their houses would settle down soon, and the re-building work would start soon after this disaster
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and re-store their heath and strength.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  •  Pray for Serbia. Serbia became an independent republic in 2006 after Montenegro voted for independence, dissolving the last remnants of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia.  The Balkan region has a history of ethnic and religious conflict, with tensions persisting between groups.  Despite this, a small but growing evangelical Christian community is attempting to bridge ethnic divides through unified worship, through challenges remain in overcoming deep-rooted cultural and religious divisions.  Praise God for the believers whose unity is a powerful witness to a nation torn apart by ethnic division.  Pray that the gospel of Christ would bring healing from centuries-long ethnic and religious conflicts.
