- Glocal Outreach: 1) Today from 1:00–2:30 PM, join us in the center courtyard for a special Lunar New Year event! There will be traditional games and delicious snacks. We en-courage all fellowships to support the event and invite new friends to join us. - Children’s Ministry : 1) The Spring Quarter Sunday School teachers and helpers training will be held 2/16 from 12:45–2:30 PM. Fruit and childcare will be provided. Please arrive on time. 2) Vacation Bible School (VBS) will be held June 16-20, 5:30-8:40 PM on the second floor. High school and college students are welcome to volunteer. Con-tact the Children’s Director, Ruth, at 626-450-7676 ext. 16 for the registration.
- EFCLA/HarvestLA Retreat (Fri-Sun, 6/6-8): The retreat will take place at Pepperdine University. Please mark your calendar and save the dates.
- Church Announcement: Each lunchbox is $5 (monthly prepaid $20, Annual prepaid $240). There is still a $25,000 shortfall for the 2024 meal ministry budget. Please pray for this ministry and consider designated offerings via Zelle, check, or cash (using the church offering envelope). Kindly note “lunch” on your donation.

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for our church. Pray that God will preserve the unity and growth of the church, enabling brothers and sisters to serve one another in love and to build up the body of Christ together. Pray for all the ministries of the church, asking God to use them to lead more people to Him.”
- Pray for revival. May our brothers and sisters establish a strong spiritual foundation in the new year, may they spread the gospel of the Lord through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
- Pray for the Church Prayer Ministry. Pray for various prayer meetings, including Morning Devotional Prayer meeting, Wednesday night Prayer meeting and other Fellowships prayer meeting. May the church, according to God’s will, become a house of prayer.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their health and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for the Rohingya people. The Rohingya people are an ethnic minority group in Myanmar, and they all believe in Islam. However, they have been persecuted in a predominantly Buddhist environment for a long time. As a result of the ongoing conflict between the Myanmar military government and antigovernment armed groups, tens of thousands of Rohingya are now in a desperate situation. No country is willing to take them in. Let us pray for the Rohingya people, asking the Lord to have mercy on them and bring an end to the civil war, so that they may hear the gospel and experience true peace in the Lord.”
