Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for Equipping Ministries. Pray for our children’s and adult Sunday school teachers. Pray also for discipline and baptismal classes’ teachers. Pray that the Lord would use them to build up the brothers and sister in truth, and to prepare them ready to witness for Him and glorify Him.
  • Pray for Whole Church Retreat. The church will hold a whole church retreat from Jun 6 to 8 at Pepperdine University. Pray for the speakers, Rev. Gary Kuo and Rev. Walter Chan. Pray that the Lord would use them to revive His church to further love Him, obey Him, and to conduct a life pleased in His eyes.
  • Pray for Outreach Groups. This year’s spring outreach groups will start in early March. Pray that the Lord would use those groups to welcome the seekers with the love from Christ, to witness to them and preach the Gos-pel to them in love.
who are sick and restore their health and strength.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their health and strength.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for Trinidad and Tobago. Trinidad and Tobago is a Caribbean nation whose wealth comes from its oil and gas industry, which dominates its economy. However, the country faces challenges with drug-related crime and violence. While Christianity is the majority religion, many adherents are nominal, and other beliefs like witchcraft and Hinduism influence local worldviews. There is a need for better theological training and a stronger focus on discipleship among Christians. Praise God for the genuine body of believers who live to please God. Pray for access to sound theological training and a focus on making disciples for Christ.
