Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Prayer for Easter Baptism: There ten some people will receive their baptism at Easter. Pray that they will have devotion time regularly after becoming a Christian. They would receive Christian education to grow in the knowledge of the Truth, and join small groups consistently.
- Prayer for Caring Ministries: In the first three months of this year, more than sixty new friends have come to the church for Sunday worship, and more than forty of them have joined different fellowships or groups through the introduction of caring co-workers. Please pray for our caring co-workers, so that more people can find their spiritual home through their ministries. Pray also for the visitation ministries, which strengthen, comfort, and encourage many brothers and sisters in the church.
- Pray for “No Apology” Training: The church will hold a special meeting for teenagers on April 26, “No Apology”, to help young people make wise decisions when facing peer pressure, dating, social media, premarital sex, drugs, alcohol, and etc., while cultivating sound and beautiful characters such as respect, responsibility, honesty, courage, self-discipline, love, and integrity. Please pray for the more than 20 young people who have registered and the three teachers who are in charge of the training.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their health and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Prayer for Equatorial Guinea: Equatorial Guinea’s motto is “Peace, Unity, and Justice,” but corruption is a widespread problem. It is one of the highest oil-producing countries in Africa, but only a minority benefits from the wealth. The oil industry draws in many foreigners, including missionaries. The majority of the population identifies as Roman Catholic, but pagan practices are still common throughout the country. Pray for peace, unity, and justice over the nation’s government, and over those doing business in the oil industry. Praise God for the influx of missionaries spreading the gospel throughout the country.
