Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the Spring Adult Sunday School. The Spring Adult Sunday School will include Bible courses, foundational classes for new believers, and faith Q&A sessions. Pray that the Lord would give our brothers and sisters a heart that longs to know Him more and serve Him, and that they would be willing to set aside time to join these classes. Pray that through Sunday School, the Lord would help us grow in His Word, strengthen our faith, and prepare us to do every good work, becoming vessels fit for His use in our daily lives. Also, please pray for the Sunday School teachers—that God would grant them wisdom, strength, and joy, and that they would experi-ence His guidance and blessing as they serve.
  • Pray for the Church Retreat (June 6–8). Our church retreat will be held at Pepperdine University with the theme “Returning to the Father’s Heart,” Pray that God will renew hearts through His Word, bring spiritual revival, and deepen unity among us. Pray for the speaker, worship team, children’s program, logistics, and all volunteers. Ask the Lord to grant wis-dom and unity, that everything may run smoothly and be filled with grace.
  • Pray for our upcoming VBS. Our church will be holding Vacation Bible School from June 16 to 20. We hope to welcome both church kids and chil-dren from the community to encounter Jesus and experience His love.Pray that each child who attends will hear the Gospel, receive the seed of faith, and be drawn to continue coming to Sunday School—growing in God’s Word and becoming young disciples who follow Jesus.
  • Pray for New Believers. Since the happiness group started this year, some brothers and sisters have been baptized. Pray that the Lord would strengthen their faith, and move them to be equipped for further growth in their faith, and become ready for His witness.
  • Pray for the Sick.  Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their health and strength.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Prayer for the Economic Difficulties Caused by the U.S. Reciprocal Tariff Policy. Due to the United States’ reciprocal tariff policy, tensions and fears have arisen in the global economy. Many countries are now sending officials to the U.S. for negotiations. May the Lord grant wisdom and grace to the relevant departments so they can respond and manage the situation effectively. We pray that the global economic hardship may be minimized, and that the threats of economic downturn and waves of unemployment may be effectively restrained.
