Title: Developing the Heart of Worship

Passage: Colossians 3:16

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

• Pray for Spiritual Revival. Pray that God would stir a deep hunger for His presence within the Church—that believers would not settle for routine or ritual, but seek His Word daily, and commit to prayer and worship. May the Holy Spirit renew hearts, rekindle passion in the weary, and bring true revival to His people, so that the Church may shine as light and be salt to the world.
  
• Pray for Church Pastors and Elders. Please pray for each pastor and elder, asking God to bless them with a deep and intimate relationship with Him, and to make them godly examples in both life and ministry. Pray for wisdom from above as they make decisions for the growth of the church, and for strength and grace to lead God’s people in fulfilling the vision and mission He has entrusted to His Church.
  
• Pray for the El Cajon, Taiwan, and Japan Short-Term Mission Teams. May the Lord bless their steps, grant them spiritual authority in prayer, and give them wisdom and strength to adapt and serve well each day. Especially for the Japan team’s first mission, pray they understand the local culture, overcome language and cultural barriers, and build relationships. May God work through them to lead people to know Jesus and receive salvation.
  
• Pray for the Sick. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.
  

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

• Pray for Bolivia. Bolivia is one of the poorest and least developed countries in South America, and the third-largest producer of cocaine in the world. About 50% of the population is under 24, with many youths affected by violence, drugs, and high unemployment. Christians there often struggle with syncretism due to animistic influences. Pray that the Church will return to the truth of God’s Word, and that the next generation will be transformed and renewed by God’s grace to live in hope and light.
