EFCLA Celebrates 55th Anniversary: Today at 1:30PM in the fellowship hall, there will be a commemorative tile painting activity.
- Children’s Ministry:
1) All parents, please fill out the new school year (2025-2026) registration form on the church website: https://efcla.org/CCReg. In addition if you are interested in joining the children choir, please indicate on the form and pay $60 to EFCLA.2) Today from 1:00–2:30PM there will be a teacher and assistant training for the Fall Quarter (September–November) in the 2nd Floor Worship Classroom.3) 8/22–23 (Friday–Saturday): 5th and 6th grade students will have an overnight outdoor camp at Santa Fe Dam. For details, please contact Lisa Wang at 626-450-7676 x10.4) 8/24 (Sunday) from 1:00–2:00PM: There will be a 5th and 6th grade parent meeting in Room 115A. All parents are encouraged to attend. - Glocal Department Announcement: A short-term mission sharing session from Summer Mission teams will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 9:30 AM in the main sanctuary. Please register through the church office. All brothers and sisters are warmly invited to attend.
- Church Announcement: Sunday lunch box is $5 each (Annual: $240). Please consider supporting the lunch ministry through prayer and offering through Zelle, check, or cash (using the church offering envelope); note “lunch” on your donation.

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for the Sick. Please pray for Danielle’s recovery after brain surgery. Also, pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their health and strength.
- Pray for more committed coworkers in church ministry. We have had more than 120 newcomers come to our church recently, but there is still a shortage of coworkers for different ministries especially for care and equipment. Pray that the Lord raises up the next generation of leaders and not only focus on imparting knowledge but also emphasize life-on-life discipleship. May every leader disciple new members with the life of Jesus, and may every brother and sister in EFCLA love one another with the love of Jesus
- Pray for the preparation of the Happiness Group in the second half of the year. As the Happiness Group is about to begin, we ask the Lord to bring BEST and prepare the hearts of the coworkers for the invitation process. May the Lord grant us wisdom, so we do not give up easily, and help us learn from failures, to stand up once again and win souls for the Lord.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for the Children Suffering from Hunger in Gaza. The Gaza region has been caught in ongoing conflict, with nearly seventy thousand innocent children living without adequate food, clean water, medical care, or safe shelter. We pray that God would pour out His mercy and open the way for humanitarian aid, so that food, drinking water, and medicine may quickly reach those in need. We ask God to raise up more charitable organizations in the international community to become channels of peace and provision, replacing hatred and violence with love.
