Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Prayer for the Church’s 55th Anniversary Sunday Celebration. We pray that You will use the Anniversary Sunday Worship Service on October 12th to be a time when Your glory is manifested. May we not just have a celebration, but also thanksgiving. Through the joint worship service, may everyone be connected and rejoice together over the grace You have shown to our church. We also ask that you use the afternoon carnival to be a display of the church’s unity and love.
- Pray for the Newly elected elders and deacons. We pray Lord gives a unified vision to the elders and deacons. Strengthen their faith, and may they hold fast to their personal prayer lives and time spent in God’s Word. May they consistently receive the vision and power from God, living as examples of longing for and pursuing heavenly spiritual blessings. Let them experience Your provision for all their needs.
- Prayer for Families. We look to You for the families in the church. We pray for Your peace to reign in family relationships that are filled with anxiety and stress. Keep family members safe from temptation and division. Help parents have the patience and wisdom they need in raising their children. Grant children a teachable heart and a spirit of obedience. Watch over multi-generational families, so that the elders are honored, the middle generation receives strength, and the young people find direction. We ask You to strengthen families that are suffering from hurt, conflict, and various crises. May they encounter the Lord Jesus Christ in their brokenness, so that their lives may be healed and their relationships restored. May every home become a dwelling place for Your glory.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health. Ask God to heal them and restore their physical health.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Prayer for the Resolution of the Conflicts in Israel-Hamas-Gaza and Russia-Ukraine. We appeal for Your mercy to bring an end to the violence in Israel-Hamas-Gaza and Russia-Ukraine. We pray that You would soften the hearts of all leaders and authorities, giving them the courage to cease military operations. Send your emissaries to the negotiating tables and diplomatic forums to forge a path to peace and prevent extreme elements from further fueling the conflict. Protect the displaced populations, ensure the release of all hostages, and bring healing to the wounded. Replace their weeping with Your comfort, and through Your Spirit, usher in the hope of restoration across the lands of Gaza, Israel, Ukraine, and Russia.
