Announcements

  • Glocal Outreach: Our church Mission Conference, “Living in His Kingdom Now: Discerning and Following His Call,” will be held on March 21 from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM. Missions team training will continue after lunch until 4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided, so please register in advance on the church website
  • Pastoral Ordination Service Announcement: You are warmly invited to at-tend the Pastoral Ordination Service of Minister Leona Chen-Wong on Sun-day, March 29, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM at EFCLA Main Sanctuary. We invite our church family and friends to join us in giving thanks to God and celebrating this special milestone of faithfulness, dedication, and calling in Leona’s life. Please join us in this special occasion as we pray for and bless Minister Leona and her family as she continues to follow God’s leading in ministry.
  • Operation Department: To enhance nighttime parking safety, the church will be constructing additional fencing and installing electric gates on the north and west sides of the property. The total construction cost is $75,000. Please pray for this project and consider contributing financially. During construction, parking may be limited. Thank you for your understanding and support.
  • Southern California EFC Memorial Service: The memorial service will be held at Hua Yuan Center at Rose Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. All brothers and sisters are welcome to attend. To re-serve seats, please contact EFC Foundation representative Jennifer at (909) 671-6572.
  • 2026 EFCLA Family Camp: Family Camp will be held May 22–24 (Memorial Day weekend) at Pepperdine University. Theme: Building a Digitally Wise Family, Topics include: Cultivating healthy family conversations, Co-creating family boundaries, Intentional planning in the digital age. We are honored to wel-come Dr. Ye Yan-Wei Yin as our guest speaker. Cost: $150 per person (in-cludes two nights of lodging and five meals). Children under 3 years old who do not require a bed may attend free of charge. Please register on the church website. Registration deadline: March 29, 2026.
    Special Announcement: Registration is now open for the July 25–August 1 mission trip.
  • Our team will minister at 14 rural middle schools, serving ap-proximately 1,000 students through English instruction, character education, and outreach. Please visit the church website for full details and the registra-tion link. Participants must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, please speak with Pastor Josh in advance.
  • Church Announcement: Each lunchbox is $5 (monthly prepaid $20, Annual prepaid $240). Please pray for this ministry and consider designated offerings via Zelle, check, or cash (using the church offering envelope). Kindly note “lunch” on your donation.

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for outreach activities in the new year.  Lord, please pour out fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit on all evangelistic outreaches in this new season, especially the Happiness Groups. May coworkers serve in unity and love, boldly proclaim the gospel, and may seekers’ hearts be prepared to open to Jesus, so that many will repent, believe in You, and be built up in the church.
  • Pray for the Mission Conference.  Please pray for the Mission Conference on Saturday morning, March 21, with the theme “Living in God’s Kingdom.” Pray for the three speakers: Dr. Len Tang, Pastor Justine, and Davida. Pray that all participants will be inspired, have their spiritual eyes opened, and respond in obedience and participation in both local and global mission work.
  • Pray for the pastors and ministry coworkers to become healthy leaders. When the pastors and coworkers are healthy, the church will be healthy and grow. Pray that they will stay focused on God’s will, maintain healthy boundaries, and be continually renewed in their spiritual life, relationships, physical health, and emotions.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are experiencing illness or physical weakness. Ask the Lord to heal, sustain, and comfort them.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for Iran. Lord, have mercy on Iran; bring peace instead of violence, comfort those who suffer, strengthen Your church under persecution, and turn the hearts of the leaders toward justice, truth, and freedom in Christ.
