  • Glocal Outreach: Our church Mission Conference, “Living in His Kingdom Now: Discerning and Following His Call,” will be held on March 21 from 9:00 AM–12:30 PM. Missions team training will continue after lunch until 4:00 PM. Lunch will be provided, so please register in advance on the church website
  • Southern California EFC Memorial Service: The memorial service will be held at Hua Yuan Center at Rose Hills Memorial Park on Saturday, March 28, from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.   • Pastoral Ordination Service Announcement: You are warmly invited to at-tend the Pastoral Ordination Service of Minister Leona Chen-Wong on Sun-day, March 29, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM at EFCLA Main Sanctuary. We invite our church family and friends to join us in giving thanks to God and celebrating this special milestone of faithfulness, dedication, and calling in Leona’s life. Please join us in this special occasion as we pray for and bless Minister Leona and her family as she continues to follow God’s leading in ministry.
  • 2026 EFCLA Family Camp: Family Camp will be held May 22–24 (Memorial Day weekend) at Pepperdine University. Theme: Building a Digitally Wise Family, Topics include: Cultivating healthy family conversations, Co-creating family boundaries, Intentional planning in the digital age. We are honored to welcome Dr. Ye Yan-Wei Yin as our guest speaker. Cost: $150 per person (includes two nights of lodging and five meals). Children under 3 years old who do not require a bed may attend free of charge. Please register on the church website. Registration deadline: March 29, 2026.
  • Passion Week & Good Friday Service: (1) Fasting & Prayer 3/30-4/3: We invite everyone to participate in a time of fasting and prayer in remembrance of Jesus’ suffering. On 3/31 (Tue) – 4/2 (Thru) at 12 pm-12:30 pm pastoral led prayer session on Zoom (ID: 857 956 9341, Passcode: 537101). (2) Bilingual Good Friday Service on 4/3 at 8 pm in the main sanctuary. All fellowships and small groups will pause their meetings for the evening, and everyone is encouraged to attend. (Livestream available on EFCLA YouTube)
  • Operation Department: To enhance nighttime parking safety, the church will be constructing additional fencing and installing electric gates on the north and west sides of the property. The total construction cost is $75,000. Please pray for this project and consider contributing financially. During construction, parking may be limited. Thank you for your understanding and support.
  • Special Announcement: Registration is now open for the July 25–August 1 mission trip.
  • Our team will minister at 14 rural middle schools, serving approximately 1,000 students through English instruction, character education, and outreach. Please visit the church website for full details and the registration link. Participants must be 18 or older. If you are under 18, please speak with Pastor Josh in advance.
  • Church Announcement: Each lunchbox is $5 (monthly prepaid $20, Annual prepaid $240). Please pray for this ministry and consider designated offerings via Zelle, check, or cash (using the church offering envelope). Kindly note “lunch” on your donation.

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the 2025 First half Happiness Group and Outreach Actions. Pray that through outreach efforts, the Lord will restore the power of the Gospel within the church and fulfill the promises Jesus made regarding the effects of the Gospel. May the Gospel become the culture of the church, and may we be restored to being a church that is fully committed to the Gospel. Pray for all brothers and sisters who are on the frontlines of evangelism, that they may be filled with power, wisdom, and declare that miracles and wonders are happening among us because of the Gospel.
  • Pray for the church’s upcoming Mission Conference in March. Please pray for the Mission Conference, “Living in the Kingdom Now,” which will be held on March 21. Especially remember the speakers — Dr. Len Tang, Jus-tine Lin, and Davida You — asking the Lord to grant them wisdom, strength, and anointing, so that their messages may ignite a deeper bur-den and passion for missions in the hearts of our brothers and sisters. Pray also that God would prepare those who attend, raising up individuals who are willing to engage in both local and global mission work. May many be inspired by the vision of missions, be sent out, and respond in practical ways to God’s Great Commission.
  • Prayer for the Church’s Vision.  “Renew, Strengthen, Expand—Bonded we grow, Bonded we go”.  1. Renewal: Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would ignite a deep hunger for You within our hearts. May the lives of every individual and the entire church be transformed and renewed by the Lord daily. 2. Strengthening: We pray for the building of close-knit relationships among our members. May we be united in truth and love, standing firm on a solid foundation with one heart and one mind. 3. Expansion: Lord, grant us the boldness to spread the Gospel. We pray that You would expand the territory of our ministry, leading us to grow both in quality and in numbers as we follow Your lead..
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are experiencing illness or physical weakness. Ask the Lord to heal, sustain, and comfort them.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for Iran. Lord, have mercy on Iran; bring peace instead of violence, comfort those who suffer, strengthen Your church under persecution, and turn the hearts of the leaders toward justice, truth, and freedom in Christ.
