Passage: Ruth 1:16

Announcements

  • Devotional Material: June Devotional Material: June 2026’s Living Life is available for pickup at the church office.
  • Equipment Department: A new English Sunday School Series Halo Zone has started from May to July every Sunday morning 10-11am at 119A classroom.
  • Glocal Short Term Mission: Summer Short-Term Mission teams a total of 50 participants will be serving, and the estimated funding needed is $40,000. Please keep them in your prayers as they go out to share the gospel abroad. If you would like to support the teams financially, please indicate “Short-Term Missions” or “STM” on your donation.
  • Children’s Congregation Announcement:
    1) VBS 3rd training session will be held on May 31, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 PM in the CC Worship Room. Salad and childcare will be provided. All mission team members are encouraged to arrive on time and attend the training. Please contact Ruth for details.
    2) From June 8th to 12th, Vacation Bible school (VBS) will be held in the chil-dren’s hall from 6:00 PM to 8:40 PM. Please register on the church website. For details, please contact Director Ruth (x16).
  • Operation Department: To enhance night time parking safety, the church will be constructing additional fencing and installing electric gates on the north and west sides of the property. The total construction cost is $75,000. Please pray for this project and consider contributing financially. During construction, parking may be limited. Thank you for your understanding and support.
  • Memorial Day Long Weekend: The church office will be closed on Tuesday, May 26, as a make-up day for the Memorial Day 5/22 long weekend.
  • Upcoming: Holy communion on (6/7)

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for students as they finish the school year strong with wisdom, focus, and peace. Pray especially for high school and college graduates as they enter the next stage of life, that God will guide their future paths in education, work, and life decisions.
  • Pray for upcoming June ministries. June ministries including graduation celebrations, the Father’s Day outdoor worship service, and various summer ministries. May God use these gatherings as opportunities for outreach, so that new friends and families may experience the love of Christ and the warmth of the church family.
  • Pray for church families during the summer season. May they continue to stay close to God and remain spiritually rooted even amid vacations, travel, and busy schedules. Pray also for safety, health, and God’s protection over all families who will be traveling.
  • Pray for brothers and sisters who are facing physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual struggles. May the Lord bring healing, comfort, strength, and provision. Pray also that the church family would grow in love and care for one another, so that those in need may experience God’s grace through the support of the body of Christ.

PRAY FOR OUR THE WORLD

  • Pray for China and the churches there. May God reign with righteousness and bring an end to persecution and oppression against people and churches. Pray that believers will remain faithful and hopeful amid difficulties, and that pastors and churches will be strengthened to continue shining the light of the Gospel.
