Announcements

  • Holy Communion: We will observe online communion during our Sunday live-streamed worship service on 3/7.
  • Happiness Group Outreach: The conference hosted from 2/19-21 had more than 1,500 participants from 160 churches in North America and Asia. 100+ sisters and brothers from our church also joined the training. The sessions will have a replay (in Mandarin) with the same Zoom webinar from 3/5-7 at the same time. You can review the contents if you like. The registration is also still available on the website: happinessgroupla.org for $10 fee.

  • Baptism Class: 1) For those who would like to be baptized on Easter (4/4), please reach out to your advisors, fellowship leaders, or pastors for more details. 2) For the children that would like to be baptized, please sign up with Children Congregation (CC) Director Ruth (x16). CC will host Baptism Class on 3/6, 13, 20, 27 (Sat) 11am-12pm through Zoom online meeting.
  • Recruitment: We are looking for advisors and helpers to join our ministries to bless and inspire our college, high school, and middle school students. Feel free to reach out if you feel called and would like to know more about it.

Prayer Requests

Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)

  • Pray for Children Congregation. Pray for the ministry team of our Children Congregation: Director Ruth, Principal John, Deacon Charlie, Deacon Jim, Deacon Tony, and Deacon Yvonne.
  • Pray for Missionaries. Daniel Chang has been ministering in Central Asia for a decade or so. Besides supporting the local churches, Rev. Chang also reaches out to the local Muslims through business.  Pray for Rev. Chang’s health and his ministries in Central Asia.  
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.
  • Pray for Happiness Group Ministries.  The Spring Happiness Group will start on Mar 7th.  Please for the Happiness Group teams, and the invitation of BEST’s.

Pray for the world

  • Pray for Moldova.  Moldova, a small landlocked country in Europe, is expected to continue suffering from economic recession.  The combined effect of an already weak economy along with the COVID-19 outbreak has affected Moldova severely.  Moldova will have to deal with its high unemployment rate by planning appropriate interventions that will support employment and economic growth.  Pray that Moldova’s economic situation would improve and that the people will turn to Christ amidst their financial difficulties.
