Announcements
- Devotional Material: 2021 September “Living Life” is available for pick up at the church office.
- Labor Day (9/6): Pastoral office will be close on Tuesday 9/7.
- Construction: 1) The restroom renovation will begin on 9/8 and is projected to finish in October. During the renovation, please use the restrooms by the fellowship hall and also pray for the successful completion with sufficient funds. 2) Up to date, we still need fifty-some thousand dollars for the project. Please pray for the provision from God for this project. When you make a donation for this project, please denote “building” in the memo.
- Church Council (9/12): It will be hosted while accommodating both in-person and online participants at 1:30pm in the English Chapel. Pastors, elders, and deacons shall attend the meeting.
- Midweek Prayer Meeting: We will start a new prayer ministry every Wednes-day evening from June. We sincerely invite all our sisters and brothers to join our midweek prayer every Wednesday from 7:30‐8:30pm (Zoom Meeting ID: 810 0333 4883 Passcode: prayer). We look forward to connecting with our church family through worship, scripture reading, and prayers altogether. Feel free to reach out to Pastor Jacky if you have any questions.
- Children Congregation: 1) 2021-22 new school year registration has started. For parents with children younger than 5th grade, please visit our church website (efcla.org) and find the information in the flyer for registration. 2) On 9/12 (Sun), CC will resume physical worship at 10am and Sunday School at 11am. All children shall wear masks the whole time to join. Snack time is 12pm in the courtyard. Parents should pick up their children by 1pm.
- ABC Online Conference 2021: This year Access Bible Convention (ABC) is on 9/18 (Sat) from 9am to 4pm with live-streamed videos. The registra-tion fee is $10 and the church will cover the cost if you are a church member. Please register on the website: https://tinyurl.com/ABC2021EFCLA
- Recruitment: We are looking for advisors and helpers to join our ministries to bless and inspire our college, high school, and middle school students. Feel free to reach out if you feel called and would like to know more about it.

Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for Mission Ministries. Pray for the mission ministries. Pray for Elder Max, Minister Scott Changchien, and Deacons: Alice Ju, Alice Kuo, Alfred Liu, Sandra Sun, Sunny Sun, and Shally Xu. Pray that the Lord would use them to promote missions in this church. Pray that they would involve in local and cross-cultural missions to preach the gospel to the ends of the world.
- Pray for Happiness groups. This Fall’s Happiness Group outreach will begin on September 12. Pray for the preparation and the invitation of BESTs of every small group/fellowship. Pray that the Lord would raise up new co-workers for this Fall’s Happiness Group outreach.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.
Pray for the world
- Pray for Georgia. Georgia is a seen as a nation that holds potential. Its democratic reforms have contributed to its economic growth thus far. However, this has been under threat as COVID-19 measures involving curfews and border closures had to be introduced. Christianity has been growing in recent years as freedom of religion is legally guaranteed by the government. Pray this growth to continue as Georgians find their purpose in God and become rich in the gospel.
- Pray for COVID-19. FDA has announced full approval of the Pfizer vaccine. Pray that this measure would encourage those who worry about the safety of those EUA COVID-19 vaccines to receive their vaccines and push the overall vaccination rate in the US over 70%. Pray also for students who have gone back to schools will not be contracted by the COVID-19.
