Announcements
- Glocal Outreach Department: Missionary Joanna Tien will come and share her ministries next Sunday (11/28) from 12:45 to 1:30pm in Scratch Room (115A). We will prepare coffee and tea so please come and support our missionary.
- Facility: 11/26 (Thanksgiving Day) and 27 (Friday) our church office will be closed due to Thanksgiving.
- Construction: Praise the Lord! The renovated bathrooms in the main sanctuary and English chapel are available for use. We are now short of nearly $17,000 for the total expense. Please continue to pray and support this project with “Building” in the memo.
- Christmas Celebration: 1) Christmas Sunday is 12/19 for joint worship service at 10am. 2) Following the service, from 12pm, we will have a Christmas Mini Carnival in the parking lot. We invite fellowships to host booths for food or games. Please sign up with the church office (626-450-7676) for the kind of booth you will host. 3) 12/24 (Fri) there will be a candlelight service at 7pm in the main sanctuary. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall at 6pm. Please invite your family and friends to come and celebrate Jesus’ birth.

- Winter Retreat 2021: The regular deadline has passed but we are still taking late registrations. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We encourage all our church families to sign up for this opportunity to bond. Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for New Believers. There are ten plus people who received their baptism over the Thanksgiving weekend. Pray that these new believers would join different groups and the Lord would raise up people from those groups to disciple them.
- Pray for Happiness Groups. The eight-week Happiness has ended, which is followed by two Happiness Workshops. Pray that all the BEST would join our worship. Pray also for the speakers, Elder Alan Liang, Elder Sean Lin, and Dr. Wen-Ta Chiu.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.
Pray for the world
- Pray for Inflation. Recently, inflation is rampant, which results in the rise of living costs, and the pressure of living increases. Pray that the Lord has mercy on His people, and to ease the inflation soon.
- Pray for Burkina Faso. In Burkina Faso, Africa, an insurgency by jihadist groups has claimed thousands of lives and has been displacing populations since 2015. About 1.5 million refugees have been forced to flee from their homes and live in extremely precarious conditions. Pray for God to frustrate the violent plans of the extremists, and for the physical and spiritual needs of the refugees to be met as the gospel spreads and bears fruit in Burkina Faso.
