Announcements

  1. Children’s Congregation:
    1) Today there will be an orientation for Summer VBS and El Cajon Mission on the 2nd floor of CC building. Please come and join us. You can also reach out to CC Director Ruth (ext. 16) for more details.
    2) CM Baptism Class will be held on the following four Sundays: 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27, 12:30-1:30 pm on the second floor of CM building. If your kids would like to attend this baptism class, please contact Children Director Ruth Kuo (626-450-7676 #16, rkuo@efcla.org).
  2. Hospitality: We now need more church families to join the welcome team to greet and serve new friends. Please contact Chi or Charlene if you can serve as ushers. Thank you!
  3. Easter Baptism: For those who would like to be baptized on Easter (4/17), please reach out to your advisors, fellowship leaders, or pastors for more in-formation. We will have a series of Baptism Class planned for you in upcoming months. If you have any questions about the schedule or Christian faith, feel free to contact us.

Prayer Requests

Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)

  • Pray for our pastors and zone pastors.  Pr. Benson Wang, Pr. Johnson Hsieh, Pr. Josh Sun, Pr. Sam Ning, Pr. Jacky Yang, Zone Pastors: Joanna Wong and Elder Max Wu. Ask God to give them wisdom, anointing, authority, and power in serving, so that pastors have health and abundant spiritual gift. Pray for them to have the best planning and leadership in all kinds of work, such as ministry deployment and administration with the fullness of the presence of the Lord as they lead the church to keep moving forward with visions.
  • Pray for the church to promote the “revival prayer group RPG”.  This year, the church promotes the RPG revival prayer group. We hope that everyone can form a three-person prayer group together: build a relationship with God, pray for personal needs, pray for each other, and pray for the gospel and the kingdom. Prayer to revive our individual, family, workplace, church, and nation.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick or infected. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health. 

Pray for the world

  • Pray for COVID.  Praise God for His divine protection during this COVID pandemic, we thank God that Omicron appears to be losing its power. May the Lord continue to protect all of us, especially the vulnerable old and the young.  May our father God give us strength and wisdom to navigate this pandemic so we can be a good steward of His house and a shining witness for God’s kingdom.
  • Pray for the European Continent.  The European continent, which has experienced the spread of the Gospel, has seen a sharp drop in the number of Christians while Christians in South America, Asia, and Africa have made the ministry of evangelism active again. Especially in the United Kingdom, where the churches of African descent are the most active and enthusiastic. May God continue to send messengers of the Gospel to spread the seeds of God’s words all over Europe as well as to bear good fruit, so that Christians in Europe will rekindle their ardent hearts with reverence and dedication to the only true God.
