Prayer Requests

Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)

  • Pray for Baptism. Pray for a brother from HarvestLA who is currently receiving their baptismal class to have a clear idea about the Christian faith before they receive their baptism.
  • Pray for El Cajon STM. Pray for our El Cajon Short Term Mission on 6/27-7/01. Pray that God will bless us with a united heart during the short-term mission, protect the physical and mental health of all team members, and make the journey safe and smooth. May God lead the team to establish a good relationship with the people and children of the local community, to bring the love of Christ to them through activities, and have the opportunity to lead them to know Jesus.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for those who are sick. Pray that the Lord would heal them and restore their health.

Pray for the world

  • Pray for Syria. There are approximately 638,000 Christians in Syria, about 3.3% of a population of nearly 19.5 million. The number of Christians has declined over the past decade, with many fleeing the country for conflict and persecution. Especially church leaders and Muslim converts. Pray that God will protect them from violence and protect their spirituality in the many dangers of everyday life. Pray that God will light their hearts with His love and let them know that the Global Church is with them.
  • Let us continue to pray for Ukraine being invaded by Russia. We still pray for peace and reconciliation. Pray for the local believers that God will give them the strength to care for those in need and proclaim the presence of God. Pray also for those displaced by this conflict who are seeking refuge, relief and hope, that God have mercy on them and make a way for them.
