Announcements
- Church Lunch: The estimated additional budget for lunch is $27,500 through August to December. Please keep this need in your prayers and support this ministry with donation if you are able.
- Courtyard Renovation: The North Courtyard of the church campus is under renovation now and it will take about 6 weeks for completion. Please use other entrances and exits during the construction period. The estimated budget is $80,000 and the amount of funds raised so far is $27,422.76. Please continue to pray for the renovation and funds (Memo: Courtyard).
- Winter Retreat 2022: This year there will be a retreat planned together with all EFC churches’ English ministries from 12/29/2022 to 1/1/2023 in Big Bear. All church families are welcome to participate since there will be adult/youth and children’s tracks. Church will subsidize $80 for students and more information on the registration page: www.efcchurches.org/2022-winter-retreat

Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for Sunday School Teachers: The new Sunday school season just started. Pray that the Lord would move people to join Sunday school. Pray that the Spirit would fill the teachers of our adult and children’s Sunday school. Through Sunday school, His people would be ready for all kinds of good works.
- Pray for Happiness Groups: Pray for the preparation of Happiness Group. Pray that the Lord would raise up enough leaders for each group. Pray also for those seekers.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
Pray for the world
- Pray for the Drought. The American West, including California, is suffering from severe drought. In California, some farmland is forced to fallow, and wildfire has burned down over three hundred and thirty thousand acres of forest. Pray that God would give us sufficient rainfall in this year’s rain season to elevate the drought.
- Pray for Mali. Mali is a Muslim nation where only two percent of the population is Christian. In the past, Christians have been subject to violent persecution, and the threat of attack still lingers over believers. Being a Christian in Mali means living with constant pressure from religious extremists, family, and the community – especially for those who have converted from Islam. Pray that God will comfort and protect the believers in Mali and bring His good news and the peace of Christ to the nation.
