Announcements
- Courtyard Renovation: The renovation of North Courtyard is near completion. The comma in the amount should be fixed to $46,600.44 for the estimated budget ($80,000). Please continue to pray for this project and the necessary funds. (Memo: Courtyard).
- Winter Retreat 2022: “Rooted and Life Forward” is the theme this year. We encourage the participants to ponder on their faith and relationship with God. Please make payment to the church with Zelle or check (bring to our registrar Jimmy) with the amount according to the date you registered with $80 subsi-dies for students if it applies with a memo “winter retreat – [name(s) of partici-pant(s)]”.
- Free Calendar: Care department has printed the calendars for the year 2023 as a gift to our church family. Please pick up one for each household after the Sunday worship service on 12/18.
- Annual Coworker Appreciation Dinner: Our church’s annual coworker appreci-ation dinner will be held on 12/18 (Sunday) 5pm at church. Elders, deacons, advisors, coordinators, worship, and tech teams are all invited.
- Christmas Celebration:
1) On 12/23 (Fri) we will have a Christmas potluck and celebration for FNF from 7pm. More details to come.2) 12/24 (Sat) there will be a candlelight service at 7pm in the main sanctuary. Please invite your family and friends to come and celebrate Jesus’ birth.3) Christmas Sunday is 12/25 for joint worship service at 10:30am.
- Reimbursement: If any coworker or fellowship has prepaid expenses for the church, please bring the receipts to the department elders ASAP before closing accounting books at the end of the fiscal year.
- Mailbox: Next year there will be a rearrangement for the mailbox in the Pasto-ral Office. Please take away everything from the box by 12/25. Thank you for your cooperation.

Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for Pastors and Elders of our Church. May God give pastors/elders a good health, a good family relationship, live in holiness every day, and not be stumbled by the temptation of money, pornography, and power; have a healthy psychological state, and stress can Resolve, don’t let negative emotions affect their service; don’t forget the original calling, and love God with all your strength every day.
- Pray for Just Baptized. Pray for those who have received baptism and confirmation on 11/27. Pray that the Lord would strengthen their faith. Also, they would receive their equipping, grow in their faith, and be ready to reach out to their family and friends soon.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
Pray for the world
- Pray for Uruguay. Uruguay has a relatively high standard of living and social welfare system, but there are still economic problems to be resolved, such as low economic growth rate, and inflation. In addition, the Uruguayan government has legalized abortion, same-sex marriage, and marijuana smoking. Let us pray for Uruguay, asking God to enable the Uruguayan government to formulate policies and systems that are in line with God’s will.
- Pray for Russian-Ukrainian War. The Russian-Ukrainian war has been going on for nine months. Inflation and expensive electricity bills caused by the war have made people’s lives more difficult. Also produced a large number of refugees into Poland. Pray to God to stop the war, prevent larger conflicts and weapon upgrades, so that people can return to normal life. Pray that the people on both sides can know the Lord, seek the Lord, and rely on the Lord, and use the local churches and missionaries to become sons of peace, testify to the Lord, and glorify the Lord.
