Announcements
- Devotional Material: 2023 January “Living Life” is available for pick up at the church office.
- Facility: 12/27-28 our church office will be closed due to Christmas Holidays.
- Winter Retreat 2022: “Rooted and Life Forward” is the theme this year. For those taking the bus, departure time on December 29th is 10AM from the church parking lot. Please arrive at church by 9:30AM to start loading the lug-gage with packed lunch. Please prepare your heart and stay healthy so we can enjoy our time at the retreat altogether.
- Courtyard Renovation: The renovation of North Courtyard is near completion. The comma in the amount should be fixed to $60,302.56 for the estimated budget ($80,000). Please continue to pray for this project and the necessary funds. (Memo: Courtyard).
- Reimbursement: If any coworker or fellowship has prepaid expenses for the church, please bring the receipts to the department elders ASAP before clos-ing accounting books at the end of the fiscal year.
- Mailbox: Next year there will be a rearrangement for the mailbox in the Pastoral Office. Please take away everything from the box by today. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Installation: New coworkers, deacons, and elders’ installation will take place in the worship service on the Sunday of 1/8/2023. Praise the Lord for their hearts to serve God’s church. Let us pray for our new church leadership.
- Expanded Council Meeting (1/8): EFCLA’s expanded council meeting will be held on 1/8/2023 at 1:30 pm at the English chapel. For all pastors, zone pastors, staff, elders, deacons, advisors, chairmen, and small group leaders, please re-serve your time for this meeting.

Prayer Requests
Pray for Our Church (EFCLA)
- Pray for the church. Pray that the Lord would revive His church to seek Him earnestly in devoting herself in prayer, reaching out, and loving one another.
- Pray for Harvest Winter Retreat. There are nearly Seventy people signing up for the winter retreat. Pray for the preparation, transportation, safety, and the work of the Holy Spirit.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
Pray for the world
- Pray for Church in the US. Pray that the church would find a new zeal and commitment to the mission and purpose of Jesus Christ. There is unity with and among churches that reveals God’s love for the world. Also, God’s people are upright. They would look and act differently from the world.
- Pray for Haiti. The number of children under five with life-threatening malnutrition in Haiti has been projected to double this year, according to UNICEF. Out of a population of about 11 million residents, 4.4 million face food insecurity – 1.9 million of them being children. Pray that God will provide food for the body and food for the spirit – the gospel of Jesus Christ – to those who need it the most.
