Announcements
- Devotional Material: 2023 June “Living Life” is available for picking up at the church office.
- Glocal Department (6/11): 1) We will send out our short term mission teams in 6/11 Sunday’s worship service. Let’s keep them in our prayer. 2) This year the short term mission teams of Kyrgyzstan 6/22-7/1, Taichung Caring church 7/2-7/8, El Cajon7/30-8/4, and Taiwan West Coast 7/22-29 are raising funds with the goal of $50,000, we have raised $27,545.00 so far. We welcome your financial support for our short term mission. Please note “STM” when you give.
- Children’s Congregation: Starting 6/12-16 from 5:30-8:40pm CC will host VBS on the 2nd floor of CC Building. Children & youth of 4-12yrs old are welcomed. Registration fee $30 (include dinner, t-shirt and craft materials). Heart Keeper will provide coffee times for parents at the same time. Please register at efcla.org, or contact Director Ruth (ext.16) for more details.
- Agape Education Center: The Montessori School is starting to recruit students aged 2-6 years old. If you want more information or to visit the school, please contact 626-450-7686 to leave a message.
- Church Lunch Service: 1) Thank Lord, we have received $31,441.00 for our lunch fund so far. 2) We are looking for co-workers for – Packing lunch boxes from 10:30-12pm on Sunday once a month. – Arrangement and put away courtyard chairs, tea preparation and clearance of trash on Sundays. Those who are willing to serve, please contact the church office at 626-450-7676.
- Operation Department: The office tenant in the southwest corner of the church, Micro-Gage, is about to relocate, so the church will start renting out that office space. May the Lord lead us to find suitable new tenants.

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for Disciple Class. The church will offer a Basic Doctrine course for new believers in late May. Please pray for the teachers and pray that the ten-plus new believers would faithfully join this class in order to lay a good foundation for their faith.
- Pray for STM. The church would send off a STM team to Kyrgyzstan and Taiwan in late June, and another STM team to El Cajon, CA in late July. We are in need of fifty thousand dollars for STM. Pray that the Lord would move people give for STM.
- Pray for Revival. There are more than one hundred and fifty people from our church joined the SoCal Prayer Conference on May 19-21. Pray that the Lord would raise up these brothers and sisters to form revival prayer groups. Through prayer, revival would incur in individual, family, and church levels.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for Armenia. Armenia is a landlock country in western Asia. 94% of its population are Christians. The legacy of Christianity in Armenia goes back more than 1,700 years. Presently, conflicts with neighboring countries Azerbaijan and Turkey are stunting Armenia’s economic growth and development. Various Christian denominations are growing in numbers, and the church in Armenia is actively interceding for peace and reconciliating between Armenia and its neighbors. Pray for reconciliation between Armenia and its neighboring nations, Azerbaijan and Turkey. Praise God for the growing number of believers in Armenia church who are praying for peace.
