Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the happiness group. Pray for the leaders of our seven Happiness groups.  Please pray that the leaders would love each other, so that people would not only hear the gospel but also see the testimony through their relationships.  Please pray that the BESTs would return for more meetings, and they would be touched by the messages, and open their heart for the Lord.
  • Pray for Sunday School. We offer different bible classes this Fall.  Besides bible classes, we offer basic doctrines for the new believers and catechism for the seekers.  Pray the Lord would remember the labors of those teachers.  Through these classes, people would grow people in their spirituality and become ready for different ministries.
  • Pray for the Elders and Deacons. Pray for those elders and deacons who are confirmed in October 15th’s assembly meeting.  Pray that the Lord would give them wisdom and strength in developing His church.  Through their ministries, we pray that many people would rise to serve the Lord, and many people would come to the Lord.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for Netherlands.  The Netherlands is known for its culture of friendliness and acceptance.  It is also a home to famous artists like Rembrandt, Van Gogh, and Mondrian.  The nation also played a big part in the Protestant Reformation, but much of its Christian heritage has been lost today.  In fact, they are known for promoting New Age ideologies.  Half of the population is nonreligious and there are few restrictions over issues like drugs or euthanasia.  Pray for the gospel of Christ to break through the lies of New Age ideologies.  Praise God for a culture that is open to others and where relationships can be formed to reach people with the gospel.
