Announcements
- Youth Group Announcement: Join us this Friday, September 20th, at 7 PM for our Youth Group Initiation! We’ll be celebrating and welcoming our new 6th, 7th, and 9th graders as they begin their journey into Middle School and High School. We’ll have pizza for dinner, and we invite everyone to bring a potluck appetizer or snack to share. Come ready for a fun evening as we kick off this new tradition together!
- Lost & Found: IF you’ve lost any belongings at church, please go to the post and found at the reception desk of main sanctuary.
- Church Cleaning Day: Please reserve your time for this year’s church cleaning day on 9/22 1:30pm after Sunday service. Cleaning area will be allocated to fellowship groups.
- Church Lunch Offering: The estimated annual cost for church lunches is $200 per person, approximately $20 per month. Label your offering “Lunch” in the donation memo.
- FIZ Marriage Course Outreach: Starting September 29th, we’ll be hosting a 7-session Alpha Marriage Course. This is a fantastic opportunity for married couples to strengthen their relationship and connect with others in the community. We encourage couples to join and invite their friends for a meaningful experience of growth and connection.
- Church Member Day: This event will be hosted from 3:00-6:30pm including dinner at church. The purpose is to go over the plans of church ministry and budget in 2025 with information and Q&A sessions as well as to pray for church’s vision before the congregational meeting (10/20). - Winter Retreat 2024: This year’s winter retreat’s theme is “Identity”, welcome all youth, college, and young adult brother and sisters to attend. Registration is now live! Please visit the Google form with link below for more detailed information: https://forms.gle/m2ung8CM5iCCPLeN7

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for Sunday School. We offer different bible classes this Fall. Besides bible classes, we have parenting classes, basic doctrines for the new believers and catechism for the seekers. Pray that the Lord would work through these classes, that people would grow in the knowledge of God’s Word, and may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
- Pray for the Happiness Group. The Fall Happiness Group outreach starts in September. Pray that the Lord would grant the co-workers unity while preaching the gospel. Pray for the seekers to continue to participate in outreach groups and ask God to move them to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of their lives.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for Cuba. The Republic of Cuba was once a Spanish colony. Of the 11.21 million people in the country, more than 85% are nominal Catholics. However, local religious beliefs are often mixed with African and Cuban spiritualism. Although the church in Cuba is persecuted and monitored by the communist government, it continues to grow. Pray that the Lord will spread the gospel greatly throughout Cuba and produce a spiritual revival.
