Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for Worship Leaders. Pray for those who lead worship in Taiwanese, Mandarin, English, Cantonese and Children’s services. Pray that the Lord would make them true worshipers, worshiping and praying to God fre-quently, so that the worship that they lead would become a continuation of their daily worship life. Pray that God would give them skill in their hands, so that music and singing can join harmoniously to reach God.
- Pray for Elders and Deacons. Pray for the elders who lead the worship, missions, education, fellowship, care, finance, operation, and media departments, as well as the deacons who work with them. Pray that the Lord would give them wisdom, gifts and joy, and through their ministries, the church will be more unified with each other, and the church will grow and thrive to become a church glorifying God.
- Pray for Outreach Groups. This Fall, we have eight outreach groups from the Mandarin and English congregations. Please pray for the members of these groups and ask God to give them the same heart and mind and work together in sharing the gospel. Please pray that the seekers would join the outreach groups regularly, and that the Holy Spirit would work in their hearts, so that after hearing the gospel, they would believe in Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
- Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for Albania. Albania was under Communist rule from 1944 to 1990s, which left the nation poor and without proper infrastructure. This has caused Albanians to work overseas and send money home, which has be-come a major source of income for the nation. The most significant local source of employment is agriculture. Attracting foreign investors is hard due to the lack of infrastructure. There is an evangelical alliance (VUSH) that has been connecting churches and Christian organizations, bringing about unity among believers. Pray for Albania’s economy to stabilize. Praise God for the unity being fostered through the evangelical alliance.
