Devotional Material: September 2025’s Living Life is now available for pickup at the church office.
Children’s Ministry:
1) All parents, please fill out the new school year (2025-2026) registration form on the church website: https://efcla.org/CCReg. In addition, if you are interested in joining the children choir, please indicate on the form and pay $60 to EFCLA. Children choir will start practice from 12:30 – 1:30PM in the 2nd Floor Worship Classroom.

2) Today, the 6th graders transition parents meeting at 1 – 2pm, EM room #115A, all parents and EM youth advisers meet together for the transition.

3)8/30 Sat, CC annual field trip to CA Science Center from 9am – 1pm, simple lunch bag will be provided, please sign up with Ruth.
Glocal Department Announcement: A short-term mission sharing session from Summer Mission teams will be held on Saturday, September 6, at 9:30 AM in the main sanctuary. Please register through the church office. All brothers and sisters are warmly invited to attend.
Church Announcement: Sunday lunch box is $5 each (Annual: $240). Please consider supporting the lunch ministry through prayer and offering through Zelle, check, or cash (using the church offering envelope); note “lunch” on your donation.

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

Pray for Personal Spiritual Revival. Pray that each one of us would experience a personal spiritual revival. Everyone would hear God’s voice, and encounter with the true and living God, so that everyone would become passionate again in worshiping God, serving God, obeying God, and preaching the gospel.
Pray for Nomination of Deacons and Elders. Elders of different departments are searching for next year’s deacons. Pray that they can find enough deacons for their ministries, and God would convince those who are invited by elders. Pray that the Lord would raise more deacons in our church to conduct different ministries for further development of our church.
Pray for Children Congregation. Pray for the registration of Children Sunday School would be smooth, and there are more children sign-ups. Pray that there will be a new generation of children Sunday School teachers devoting in teaching the children to follow Jesus, obey Jesus, and serve Jesus.
Pray for the Sick. Please pray for Danielle’s recovery after brain surgery. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

Pray for the global economic situation. The new tariff policies announced by the U.S. President Donald Trump have caused many impacts, leading to instability in countries around the world. Pray that the Lord will continue to reveal His justice and righteousness, and put an end to unjust hatred and retaliatory actions. May the Lord’s love and peace fill every decision made by the U.S. President, so that nations may communicate with mutual respect, promote global economic growth and cooperation, and eliminate
all conflicts.
