Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for Worship Leaders. Pray for those who lead worship in Taiwanese, Mandarin, English, Cantonese and Children’s services. Pray that the Lord would make them true worshipers, worshiping and praying to God frequently, so that the worship that they lead would become a continuation of their daily worship life. Pray that God would give them skill in their hands, so that music and singing can join harmoniously to reach God.
- Pray for Elders and Deacons. Pray for the elders who lead the worship, missions, education, fellowship, care, finance, operation, and media departments, as well as the deacons who work with them. Pray that the Lord would give them wisdom, gifts and joy, and through their ministries, the church will be more unified with each other, and the church will grow and thrive to become a church glorifying God.
- Pray for Outreach Groups. This Fall, we have outreach groups from the Mandarin Congregations. Please pray for the members of these groups and ask God to give them the same heart and mind and work together in sharing the gospel. Please pray that the seekers would join the outreach groups regularly, and that the Holy Spirit would work in their hearts, so that after hearing the gospel, they would believe in Jesus Christ as their personal savior.
- Pray for the Sick. Please pray for Danielle’s recovery after brain surgery. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for Unemployed Youth. According to the International Labor Organization, the global unemployment rate in 2024 was 5%, but youth unemployment reached as high as 12.6%, showing the difficulties young people face in finding jobs. Let us pray for those who are seeking work but cannot find it, and for those struggling with daily needs. May God grant them hope and strength in times of helplessness, lead them to suitable job opportunities, and provide for their daily needs, so that they may experience His faithfulness.
