Announcements
- Devotional Material: October 2025’s Living Life is now available for pickup at the church office.
- Children’s Ministry (Today): Background Checks (12:30PM-1:30PM), all youth and children’s ministry workers are asked to come to Classroom 200 (2nd floor of the Children’s Building) for background checks. For details, please contact Director Ruth (x16).
- Church Cleaning Day (Today): Please set aside time to join this year’s Church Cleaning Day. Cleaning areas will be assigned by fellowship groups
- 55th Anniversary Celebration (Sun 10/12):
1) Our church will hold the 55th Anniversary Combined Thanksgiving Service at 10:00 AM. At 12:00 PM, we will continue the celebration with a Fair.
2) A “Fair Instructions” will be held in the main chapel at 1:30 pm on 10/5. We warmly invite everyone to join us as we give thanks to the Lord together! - Congregation Meeting (10/19):
1) 9:00–9:30 AM – Agenda discussion in Classroom 109A/B, including: 2026 Council nominations, 2024 (Sept–Dec) and 2025 (Jan–Aug) accounting settlement, 2026 budget proposal, Ministry reports and outlook, Open Q&A time. Voting: During each worship service (Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, Cantonese), members will vote on: 2026 elders, 2025 settlement, 2026 budget.
2) At 1:30 PM – In the Main Sanctuary, votes will be counted and financial auditors will be elected. Final results will be announced in the following Sunday bulletin. All active church members are required to attend. If you are unable to attend, please inform your zone pastor, advisor, or the church office in advance. - Member List: The active member list will be posted in the Main Sanctuary hallway three weeks before the Congregation Meeting (by 9/28). Please check the list and notify the church office if there are any errors. Those who have not completed the membership class or have been members for less than three months are not eligible to vote.
- Financial Reports and Budget: The financial reports and next year’s budget will be available on the table near the Main Sanctuary reception area. Please review them and contact the church office if you have any questions.

Prayer Requests
PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)
- Pray for the October 12th Anniversary Celebration and the October 19th Church Member Meeting. Pray that the whole church may gather together to worship God, count His blessings, and receive new vision. Pray that the church meeting’s budget and the voting for new elders proceed smoothly, that brothers and sisters participate actively, come to know the church better, and grow in their sense of belonging.
- Pray for the Sunday School programs from September to November. “Why Believe – Faith Q&A”, “Overview of the New Testament (Part 2)”, “Disci-pleship School (Part 2)”, and “7A Positive Parenting Course”. May the Lord use these courses to help our brothers and sisters be firmly rooted in the truth and live out their faith in daily life. We also pray that the Lord would move more brothers and sisters to participate in these classes, so that Sunday School may become a vessel for church revival and spiritual growth.
- Pray for the Happiness Outreach Small Groups. The church’s Happiness Groups for this fall have already begun. Please pray for the members of these groups, asking God to give them the same mindset and purpose, united in advancing the gospel. Also, pray for the new friends, that they may continue to participate and that the Holy Spirit would work among them, so that they may hear the gospel and come to believe in Jesus Christ as the Lord of their lives.
- Pray for the Sick. Please pray for Danielle’s recovery after brain surgery. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.
PRAY FOR THE WORLD
- Pray for India. The Indian government’s tolerance of extremist groups, along with the long-term acquiescence of the current Prime Minister, has led to a surge in violence and religious persecution against Christians. Tens of thousands of Christians have been forced to relocate, and many churches have been destroyed. Let us pray for the people of India, that they may come to know the true God, and for the local churches and Christians to remain steadfast in their faith until they ultimately overcome.
