Announcements

  • Devotional Material: January 2026’s Living Life is now available for pickup at the church office
  • Installation and Ordination: On January 4, 2026 (Sunday), during the Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and Cantonese worship services, the church will hold an installation and ordination service for 2026 leaders.
  • Meeting: An Expanded Elders and Deacons Meeting will be held on January 4, 2026 (Sunday) at 1:30 PM in the Worship Hall. Pastors, district pastors, elders, deacons, advisors, and small group leaders are requested to attend. Immediately following, a board Meeting will be held. Pastors and elders are requested to stay.
  • Finance Department Report: The church’s general offering is still approximately $10,000 short of the budget. We kindly ask brothers and sisters to remember this in prayer and giving.
  • Children’s Ministry Volunteer Teachers Needed: The Children’s Ministry is recruiting volunteer teachers to help with Children’s Sunday School for the Spring Quarter (March–May). If you have a heart for serving children and are willing to support this ministry, we warmly invite you to join the team. Please contact the Children’s Ministry or the church office for more information. Thank you for your prayerful consideration and support.
  • Glocal: Registration for the short-term mission is now open on the church website and will continue until March 1. Brothers and sisters who are interested in participating are encouraged to register. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Scott or Children’s Director Ruth for more details.
  • Co-worker: The Co-worker Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 17, from 9:30AM to 12:30PM. This meeting is for all co-workers and ministry leaders to connect and to prepare for the upcoming ministry year.
  • Upcoming: Holy Communion on(1/11)

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Pray for the Church’s leadership and co-workers. Pray for pastors (Zone Pastors), elders, deacons, advisers, and group leaders.  Pray that the Lord would help them build an intimate relationship with Him every day, and pray constantly, and live a holy and victorious life. Pray that every co-worker will fulfill their duties, so that each of them can lead and build up believers and become a good example for believers. Give them the burden to the soul and the eloquence to preach the Gospel, so that they will all become channels of God’s blessing and love.
  • Pray for Brother & Sister life renewal. Pray that people would seek for God constantly. Pray that people would experience the renewal and transformation from the Holy Spirit as to devote themselves in prayer, receive training and equipping, and commit themselves in the Lord’s commission to His disciples.
  • Pray for the Sick. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.

PRAY FOR THE WORLD

  • Pray for the US to encounter God’s grace in 2026. Lord, we pray for Your protection over the United States, asking for peace and stability to prevail, and that no sword may pass through this land. May your love be poured out upon this nation, leading more people to know Your salvation and experience Your presence. We ask for your blessing upon the government and the leaders of political parties, that they may fear You and guide the nation on the path of righteousness and justice. Let Your glory fill this land, and may the United States fulfill its divine destiny, becoming a testimony to all nations and peoples！
