Announcements

  • Devotional Material: May 2026’s Living Life is available for pickup at the church office.
  • Fellowship Department: One church Day will be held at a later date.
  • Equipment Department: New Sunday School Series Halo Zone will start from May to July every Sunday morning 10-11am at 119A classroom.
  • Mother’s Day (5/10): Celebrate Mother’s Day with a joint worship service at 10:30 AM in the main sanctuary. The Care Department will present a gift to every mother following the service. Lunch boxes will be provided.
  • Short Term Mission Commission (5/10): During our joint Mother’s Day worship service, we will commission our Summer Short-Term Mission teams. A total of 50 participants will be serving, and the estimated funding needed is $40,000. Please keep them in your prayers as they go out to share the gospel abroad. If you would like to support the teams financially, please indicate “Short-Term Missions” or “STM” on your donation.
  • Sunday School Notice (5/10): Adult and Youth Sunday School will be paused on Mother’s Day in observance of the holiday.
  • Children’s Ministry Announcement:
    1)On Mother’s Day Sunday (May 10th) at 11:00 AM, Brother Lin will perform a gospel magic show in the English chapel. All are welcome to attend.
    2)The children’s choir will sing 2 songs during the Mother’s Day joint worship service. Please pray for them.
    3)From June 8th to 12th, Vacation Bible school (VBS) will be held in the children’s hall from 6:00 PM to 8:40 PM. Please register on the church web-site. For details, please contact Director Ruth (x16).
  • Operation Department: To enhance nighttime parking safety, the church will be constructing additional fencing and installing electric gates on the north and west sides of the property. The total construction cost is $75,000. Please pray for this project and consider contributing financially. During construction, parking may be limited. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Prayer Requests

PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH (EFCLA)

  • Let’s pray for the church in Japan. Where less than 1% of the population are believers. We ask God to extend His grace and mercy to the unreached people of Japan, that they may humbly turn to the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Prayer for Mother’s Day Sunday. We pray for the Joint Mother’s Day Sunday service on May 10th. We ask that every segment of the service—including the worship, the choir’s special music, and the sermon—proceed smoothly, that mothers be honored, and that God’s name be exalted to receive the greatest glory.
  • Let’s pray for the church’s ongoing Happiness Groups, the upcoming Vacation Bible School (VBS), and the upcoming mission trips to Japan, Kyrgyzstan, and the west coast of Taiwan. We ask the Lord to grant us wisdom and a heart for service; we pray that He removes spiritual blindness, allowing the love of Christ to shine into the hearts of the people, so that they may encounter the true Living Water of life. We declare that the mighty power of the Gospel will be boldly proclaimed in every place, and that the seeds of the Gospel will be sown far and wide.
  • Pray for those in need (body, mind, and spirit). Pray for the brothers and sisters.
