一﹑本週經文Scriptures: 羅馬書12：9-18 Romans

9 愛人不可虛假。惡，要厭惡；善，要親近。 10 愛弟兄，要彼此親熱；恭敬人，要彼此推讓。 11 殷勤，不可懶惰；要心裡火熱，常常服事主。 12 在指望中要喜樂；在患難中要忍耐；禱告要恆切。 13 聖徒缺乏，要幫補；客，要一味地款待。 14 逼迫你們的，要給他們祝福；只要祝福，不可咒詛。 15 與喜樂的人要同樂；與哀哭的人要同哭。 16 要彼此同心；不要志氣高大，倒要俯就卑微的人（人：或譯事）。不要自以為聰明。 17 不要以惡報惡；眾人以為美的事要留心去做。 18 若是能行，總要盡力與眾人和睦。

9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.  14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.  17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

二﹑禱告事項 Prayer Items:

1.為斐濟禱告：斐濟是位於南太平洋的一個群島國家。1830年英國的宣教士將福音帶到斐濟，到了1986年，斐濟超過百分之七十五的人口均屬於衛理公會。但是1987年斐濟經歷兩次的政變之後，衛理公會分裂，直到今日斐濟的教會仍在尋求醫治、轉化與合一。禱告神的福音為斐濟的教會帶來更新與合一。

Pray for Fiji.  Fiji, an archipelago located in South Pacific, was first introduced to the gospel by British missionaries in 1830.  By 1986, more than 75 percent of the indigenous population belonged to Methodist Church.  But ever since Fiji suffered two military coups in 1987 and the Methodist Church split, the church has been on a journey toward finding healing, transformation, and unity amongst Fiji’s multiracial and multicultural population. Pray that the gospel will renew the church in Fiji.

 

2.為全球華人差傳大會禱告：(1) 為8/23下午3點的北加州與5點的南加州華語異象分享會禱告，並為英語的異象分享會能盡快安排禱告。求神讓更多的教會牧者與領袖能上線參加這次的異象分享會，已便瞭解9/26與12/28-30的差傳大會，並鼓勵教會的弟兄姊妹參加。(2) 請為大會能準時收到9/26差傳大會啟動的各工作坊的錄像並有充裕的時間進行編輯。目前有部分的工作坊錄像已經遲交，還有近一半的工作坊錄像尚未完成。

Pray for CMC Global.  (1) Please pray for the two Chinese Vision Sharing Meetings for CMC Global to be held this Sunday 8/23, at 3 pm in Northern California and at 5 pm in Southern California and the scheduling of an English Vision sharing meeting: for good participation from church pastors and leaders to find out more details about CMC Global online in September 26 and on December 28-30, and encourage their church members to join.  (2) Please pray for all the workshop video recordings for September to be received and edited in time.  Some workshop recordings have past their submission deadline and we still have about 50% of workshops to be completed. 

 

3.為教會合一禱告：求神賜下合一的靈使祂的教會委身於敬拜、禱告、團契、門訓、與外展。

Pray for the Church.  Pray that the Lord would send us the spirit of unity for our church to devote herself in worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and outreach.

 

4.為華語堂整合禱告：為週六、青崇與華語三個崇拜整合為一個崇拜禱告，求神賜福這次的整合行動，使華語事工在恩賜服事、門徒訓練、傳揚福音各方面因此得到更好的發展與進步。

Pray for consolidation of Mandarin congregations. Pray for the consolidation of our Saturday night Mandarin, Mandarin Youth, and Sunday Mandarin congregations into one Mandarin congregation.  Pray that God would bless this consolidation so that Mandarin ministries would better develop and progress in ministries, discipleship, and evangelism.
