7 你若行得好，豈不蒙悅納？你若行得不好，罪就伏在門前。它必戀慕你，你卻要制伏它。
7 If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.”
二﹑禱告事項 Prayer Items:
- 為伊朗禱告：伊朗是一個宗教獨裁國家，國教是什葉派伊斯蘭教，並明訂禁止傳福音給伊斯蘭教徒，若改信基督教，甚至會被處以死刑；儘管在這樣的迫害中，暗地裏聚集的地下教會仍迅速崛起。伊朗約99%的人口都是傳福音的對象，求主使福音廣傳，並紮根在伊朗全地。
Pray for Iran: Iran is a religious dictatorship, the state religion is Shia Islam, and it is expressly forbidden to preach the gospel to Muslims. If you convert to Christianity, you will even be sentenced to death; The underground churches are still rising rapidly. About 99% of Iran’s population is the target of evangelism. May the Lord spread the gospel and take root in the whole of Iran. - 為宣教培靈會禱告：8/12-13南加州眾教會與海外基督使團（OMF）合辦的「知難而進」宣教培靈會在本教會舉行。禱告眾教會可以積極參與，求神使用大會講員，激發華人教會特別是年輕一代對宣教服事的負擔，熱忱與行動。
Pray for Mission Convention: We will hold the S. Cal. Joint Mission Convention at our church venue from Aug 12 to 13. Pray that the churches can actively participate, and that God use the speakers at the conference to inspire the Chinese churches, especially the younger generation, to bear the burden, enthusiasm, and action for a mission movement. - 為同工退修會禱告：請為8/20全教會同工退修會的籌備、報名禱告。求神讓教會的牧養、各部門同工們都報名參加這個退修會。這次退修會的主題是激勵同工在服事中重新得力。求神藉著這個退修會讓同工們有好的聯結，合一的異象，更新的靈命。
Pray for Co-Worker Retreat: We will hold this year’s co-worker retreat on Aug. 20. Pray that all of our leaders would sign up for this one-day retreat. The theme of the retreat is Revive and Recharge. Pray that the Lord would use this retreat to improve the bonding of our leaders, unity of our vision, and renewal of His servants. - 為音樂佈道會禱告：為9月10日基督教角聲佈道團在我們教會舉辦的音樂佈道會“後疫情啟示錄”禱告。禱告活動的籌備一切順利，場地，同工，敬拜團和講員的配搭。也禱告這次活動挑旺眾教會傳福音的熱心。
Pray for the music crusade: Pray for the “Post-pandemic Apocalypse” music crusade held in our church by the Chinese Christian Herald Crusades on September 10. Pray that the preparations for the event go well, the venue, the co-workers, the worship team, and the speakers. Also pray that this event will arouse the zeal of the churches in evangelism. - 為肢體禱告：為你所知道身體欠安的弟兄姊妹禱告，求神醫治他們恢復身體的健康。陳鐵雄弟兄住院接受治療中，求神醫治他。
Pray for the Sick. Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength. Pray also for Brother Peter Chen, who is in hospital.
