一、 本週經文 Scriptures：羅馬書6:3-8 Romans
難道你們不知道，我們這受洗歸入基督耶穌的人，就是受洗歸入他的死嗎？所以，我們藉着洗禮歸入死，和他一同埋葬，是要我們行事為人都有新生的樣子，像基督藉着父的榮耀從死人中復活一樣。 我們若與他合一，經歷與他一樣的死，也將經歷與他一樣的復活。我們知道，我們的舊人和他同釘十字架，使罪身滅絕，叫我們不再作罪的奴隸，因為已死的人是脫離了罪。 我們若與基督同死，我們信也必與他同活。
3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7 because anyone who has died has been set free from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.
二﹑禱告事項 Prayer Items:
1. 為剛果民主共和國禱告：在剛果民主共和國的一間教會中，發現七十名基督徒被斬首的遺體。據悉是伊斯蘭武裝組織所為。民主剛果經歷長期內戰，死亡人數已超過六百萬人，對基督徒的迫害也日益嚴重。求主保守當地基督徒的平安，賜給他們剛強的信心以面對逼迫，並止息戰火，使內戰能夠早日結束。
Pray for churches in the Democratic Republic of the Congo(DRC). In a church in the DRC, the bodies of seventy Christians who had been beheaded were discovered. It is reported that this was carried out by Islamic militants. The DRC has gone through a long period of civil war, with the death toll surpassing six million, and the persecution of Christians is becoming increasingly severe. May the Lord protect the safety of local Christians, grant them strong faith to face persecution, and bring an end to the war so that the civil conflict may soon cease.
2. 為9-11月裝備部各項主日學禱告：有謝禧明牧師的台語聯合信仰與生活講座，猶大書-不要做醉生夢死的人、我為何要信-信仰問答、新約綜覽(下)、門徒學校(下)、7A正向教養親職課程。求主使用這些課程，成為眾弟兄姊妹在真道上扎根、在生活中活出信仰的祝福，也求主感動更多弟兄姊妹參與學習，讓主日學成為教會復興與生命成長的器皿。
Pray for the Sunday School Classes (September-November). These include Pastor Hsieh Hsi-Ming’s Taiwanese joint lecture on faith and life, the New Testament Survey (Part 2), and discipleship course (part 2), 7A Parenting class. Pray that God will use these classes to nurture believers, help them know the truth, and live out their faith.
3. 為英文堂學生事工禱告：求主帶領新進入初高中的學生融入團契，感受到愛，並喜愛小組生活。也為 9/14 歡迎之夜禱告，讓新學生在神的家中經歷連結與接納，被吸引更深認識主，並跟隨耶穌。
Pray for Harvest LA student ministry. Pray that the Lord will lead the new junior high and high school students to be integrated into the fellowship, to feel loved, and to enjoy small group life. Also pray for the 9/14 Welcome Night, that the new students may experience connection and acceptance in God’s family, be drawn to know the Lord more deeply, and follow Jesus.
4. 為我們屬靈的成長禱告：求主幫助我們更加信靠祂，不倚靠自己，只單單依靠聖靈；讓我們常常住在基督裡，使生命每天都能彰顯基督的榮美，見證祂的榮耀。
Pray for our spiritual growth. Pray that we may trust the Lord more fully—not relying on ourselves but depending solely on the Holy Spirit. As we continually abide in Christ, may our lives each day reflect His beauty and reveal His glory to the world!
5. 為肢體禱告：請繼續為Danielle手術後的恢復禱告。為你所知道身體欠安的弟兄姊妹禱告，求神醫治他們恢復身體的健康。
Pray for the Sick. Please pray for Danielle’s recovery after brain surgery. Pray for the brothers and sisters you know who are in poor health, and ask God to heal them and restore them to good health.
