一﹑本週經文Scriptures: 使徒行傳 12：1-7 Acts
1 那時，希律王下手苦害教會中幾個人， 2 用刀殺了約翰的哥哥雅各。 3 他見猶太人喜歡這事，又去捉拿彼得。那時正是除酵的日子。 4 希律拿了彼得，收在監裡，交付四班兵丁看守，每班四個人，意思要在逾越節後把他提出來，當著百姓辦他。 5 於是彼得被囚在監裡；教會卻為他切切地禱告　神。 6 希律將要提他出來的前一夜，彼得被兩條鐵鍊鎖著，睡在兩個兵丁當中；看守的人也在門外看守。 7 忽然，有主的一個使者站在旁邊，屋裡有光照耀，天使拍彼得的肋旁，拍醒了他，說：「快快起來！」那鐵鍊就從他手上脫落下來。
1 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. 2 He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. 3 When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. 4 After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover. 5 So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him. 6 The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries stood guard at the entrance. 7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him up. “Quick, get up!” he said, and the chains fell off Peter’s wrists.

二﹑禱告事項 Prayer Items:
1.為烏干達禱告：烏干達廣義的基督教人口多達84％以上，其中有39％為天主教徒：此外，伊斯蘭教圖的比例也將近14％。近年來，極端主義伊斯蘭教徒不斷燒毀教會，並攻擊基督徒。求主保護生命受到威脅的烏干達基督徒，阻斷一切極端主義伊斯蘭教徒的惡行。
Pray for Uganda.  The broad Christian population in Uganda is over 84%, with 39% being Catholics. Additionally, the proportion of Muslims is nearly 14%. In recent years, extremist Muslims have been continuously burning churches and attacking Christians. Pray for the protection of the lives of threatened Ugandan Christians and the prevention of all evil deeds by extremist Muslims.

2.為暑期短宣隊禱告：7/22-29台灣西海岸即將開始，我們教會有孫主立牧師全家、王牧師、Andrea Hsieh, Timothy Wu, Joshua Sun參與台灣西海岸短宣，求神保守他們能適應炎熱的天氣，當地的飲食、文化，並能與當地的學生有好的交流，帶領當地學生認識耶穌。7/30-8/4將前往 El Cajon 短宣，讓我們接觸當地來的中東難民社區時，有從神來的愛心、信心、耐心去與他們認識、交流，讓我們的團隊有合一服事的心，來見證主耶穌的生命。
Pray for the upcoming STM teams.  Pray for the team members who are going to the West Coast of Taiwan on 07/22-07/29, which include Pastor Josh Sun & his family, Andrea Hsieh, Timothy Wu, and Pastor Benson, Joshua Sun. May God protect them and help them adapt to the hot weather, local cuisine, and culture. May they have meaningful interactions with local students and lead them to Jesus. Additionally, pray for the team members going to El Cajon from 7/30-8/4. Pray that as they encounter the local Middle Eastern refugee communities, God will give them love, faith, and patience to connect and communicate with them. May our team have a heart of unity in service and be witnesses of our Lord Jesus.

3.為教會的需要禱告：長執會已於6/25通過2023上半年度的財務預算審核，今年上半年受到的奉獻僅達年度預算的41％，求神供應我們今年所需的經費， 讓教會各項的事工需要都沒有欠缺。
Pray for our church’s financial needs.  The Council meeting has completed the financial budget review for the first half of this year by the end of June. The contributions received in the first half of year have only reached 41% of the annual budget. Please pray that God will provide the necessary funds for us this year so that there will be no lack in any ministry needs of the church.

4.為肢體禱告：為身體欠安的弟兄姊妹禱告，求神醫治他們恢復身心靈的健康。
Pray for the Sick.  Pray that the Lord would heal those who are sick and restore their heath and strength.
